I have always been fascinated by colour and more precisely the effect it can have on mood and energy levels. The way we dress, how we decorate our homes is not only about personal taste, but also about the feelings and emotions certain styles and colours evoke. Bold colours and flashing lights may be appropriate for a theme park, but less so for a child’s bedroom! The same principal can be applied in all areas of our lives; how we present ourselves and our home/work environment gives others a little insight into our personality and the lifestyle we lead. The question is, is the first impression you give really the one which is true to yourself or would you like a little help finding that, ‘me, but better’ version?
As a style consult, I can help you understand exactly why certain colours or outfits can lift your spirits and make you feel good, yet others hang unworn for years in your wardrobe because something about them is just ‘off’ when you put them on.
